Why is it that college students enjoy complaining about their professors?

nick b asked:

It seems like every class I’ve ever taken in college has “that” group of students who love to complain throughout the whole semester about how hard or ignorant the professor is. They complain so much, that they often misunderstand the meaning of assignments and lessons given in the class. The focus strays away from being educated to just complaining. In many of the classes the students complaints make the semester even harder, because the professor builds animosity towards the class as a whole. I’d like to hear others opinions because I know I’m not alone in being annoyed by their pointless bickering.

An instructor is not doing that then heshe just plain cant teach.
The point where they misunderstand instructions students should have detailed syllabus and inclass instructions that ive ever been in have students should have students complained constantly to the point where they misunderstand instructions students complained constantly to the point.

If the professor is unrealistic in their expectation of the students or lack the people skills to teach, I would complain too.
College is no free ride and costs plenty. Sometimes attention needs to be given to whats going on in the class room. If there are a lot of complaints, they might need to be looked in to.
I attend college and I can tell you that there are some teachers at my school that lack the ability to communicate and get their point across to others.
Since I am paying, I want the best for my money!
