Give them a break. At least they’re not skinny and being rude about him being fat. That would be more insulting.

I’m very thin and I’m always wandering why fat people thinks that they have the right to joke on people like us, and never thin people can do the same with them, it is considered not very politically correct.
They are just throwing their inferiority feelings against your husband.
